Hi,
how do you address the fact that PIRI sensors are good in detecting movement but not good in detecting presence?
I mean - for example when my daughter is in her room and reading (=not moving), PIRI sensor will not detect her presence and after some time the light goes off.
If there already are answers here, it would help me with pointing to those threads. I can translate german text (with the help of online translators) but my german knowledge is not good enough for effective searching.
I use IP Symcon for the logic and I have FHZ1300PC as interface and PIRI-2-KU sensors.
regards,
Marian

thats correct, because, not only your daughter is present, some other things are present too.
Only changings causes a reaction, not a static present (static = reading or (very) slow moving).
Look at this site:

there is a script at the end (from bümpi), maybe it is helpfull for you.
