Nachdem ich neulich meine IoBroker Raspberry Pi 3B schon auf USB-Stick Boot umgstellt hatte, habe ich nun gerade auch meine piVCCU PI3 auf USB Stick umgestellt.
Dafür nun die UUIDs komplett aus der config.txt und etc/fstab rausgeschmissen und auf Devicenamen a la sda1 und sda2 umgestellt. Funktioniert und bootet 1A!
Meine config.txt auf der Boot-Partition schaut nun so aus:
dwc_otg.lpm_enable=0 console=tty1
root=/dev/sda2 rootfstype=ext4 elevator=deadline fsck.repair=yes rootwait
und die etc/fstab auf der root-Partition nun so:
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 /boot vfat defaults 0 2
/dev/sda2 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
# a swapfile is not a swap partition, no line here
# use dphys-swapfile swap[on|off] for that
Über Terminal ein sudo fdisk -l dann am Ende folgende Ausgabe:
Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type
/dev/sda1 8192 93269 85078 41.6M c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
/dev/sda2 94208 30818303 30724096
14.7G 83 Linux

Mein USB Stick hat allerding 32GB und die möchte ich auch freibekommen...
