FS20 control of underfloor heating (English)

Hi,

Sincere apologies for writing in English! This forum looks to be the best forum on the internet for discussing FS20 kit but unfortunately I don't speak German, sorry!

I need a system which can control the pump and actuators on my underfloor heating manifold and can also control our boiler. I also want to be able to access the system from the internet when I'm away.

It looks like I will have to pay the premium for a HomeMatic system but I would like to check whether I can achieve what I want with an FS20 system. The alternatives I've considered have been:

1) STR wireless room thermostat + FS20 SA radio wall switch

This system will allow me to control my underfloor heating manifold actuators and underfloor heating pump but the STR wont work with the FHZ1xxx PC controllers or the FHT 8W boiler controller.

2) FHT80B-II room thermostat, FHT 8W Boiler Control, FHZ1300 PC Interface

The main problem with this system is that the FHT80B-II can't directly control the AS1 switch and hence can't control my underfloor heating pump and actuators.

Is there a way to configure the FHT80B-II to talk to the AS1 switch instead of the FS20 wireless actuators? Could I use FHEM running on a linux laptop to get the FHT80B-II to control the AS1 switch? Will the FHT80b-II be happy to run without a wireless actuator?

Does anyone know of any other ways I could configure an FS20 system to control my underfloor heating system and boiler? Is my only option to go with the HomeMatic?
