Hello
I have a system using HmIP-FAL230-C6, thermostats HmIP-WTH-2 and the access point. It has been working for 3 years with heating and cooling as it should. This summer something happened. Everything is configured for cooling with a setpoint of 25 degrees (cooling profile). All thermostats are in cooling profile. in Climate control configuration system is in Cooling mode. My boiler is pumping water at 15 degrees so everything is configured as it should be. Well the valves are still opened with every room with a tempeature below 25 degrees (around 21-23) and application is showing "Heating failure detected" which means it is trying to reach a temperature above 25 degrees instead of under 25 degrees.
Only in one of the rooms valve is not opening and temperature is above 27 degrees...
I've been waiting for 4 days to receive some support from homatic.
Pls somebody can help me?

Re: System is not cooling
Having the exact same problem, system displayes it's in cooling mode, but operates is if it was still in heating mode.
Valves open and cooling starts if I set the desired temperature > actual temperature.
3 of my neighbours are having the same problem (they have the same installation), so it's a widespread issue on Homematic's side.
It worked perfectly in April. I hope Homematic fixes the issue soon.

Re: System is not cooling
I don't know if the issue is firmware related but, right before I changed the system to cooling, I've checked my system was not firmware updated because it was on manual. I've changed it to auto and updated the firmware. After that everything stopped working.
I've opened a support request in Homematic 5 days ago but I am still waiting, that's why I also think it's an general issue.
Thanks for your message

Re: System is not cooling
I have deleted the installation, went with every device to factory settings. Configure everything again and system behaviour does not change.
I can't downgrade the firmware of the access point, even with that it keeps the latest firmware installed.
It's a pity we can not configure how the installation react by ourselves with scrips and so on and we depend on Homematic to solve this issue.
I was thinking of increase the number of homatic devices but this is not a reliable system at all.
2 neighbours confirmed me that they have the same issue.

Re: System is not cooling
Same problem here! Was working not so long ago when heating. Now switched to cooling and is no longer working. And the impression is that althougt set to cooling it still thinks that it needs to heat instead. Sort of a missing setting somewhere, that tells the system it is cooling time. Firmware hasn't been updated. Does anyone know if eq-3 is working on a solution? TIA

Re: System is not cooling
The problem is as well known (at least for the FALMOT) in the German part of the forum and someone already received an answer from the support that the issue is being worked on.
However, I would suggest to contact EQ3 as well and tell them about your problems, so they see the issue affects more people and keep pushing for a fix. And that they don't forget the FAL and only fixing the FALMOT or vice versa...

Re: System is not cooling
Update: My system is now working — though it was resolved in a rather strange way.
Just a few minutes (really, just a handful) after I posted here, the Access Point appeared to lose connection. I’m not entirely sure what happened — perhaps a reset or restart? It didn’t seem like a firmware update took place. The disruption only lasted a few minutes, and then everything came back online.
I didn’t want to post right away; I preferred to monitor things for a bit to make sure the issue was truly resolved. So far, it’s remained stable and continues to work.
