ccu3 with home assistant communication problems

Who has connected the CCU3 to Home Assistant? I've always had the CCU2 and never had any problems, but now I've connected the CCU3. When I change the temperature in Home Assistant, the temperature doesn't change, but when I change the temperature from the CCU3, the temperature does change in Home Assistant. I mainly have Homematic IP Teach In connected and a second old type of thermostat, and those old types respond in both directions. What could be causing this?
