HmIP-eTRV-2 level control

Beitrag von malkovy » 18.10.2020, 23:37

Hi, I am trying to directly control valve level of HmIP-eTRV-2. Thankfully the level property is writable so it can be done, but after some time, internal controller overwrites set value. Currently I circumvent this problem by sending level value every minute. Unfortunately I observe that valve starts to move and then goes back to desired level. This creates unnecessary noises and drains battery. Maybe there is some method to disable internal controller? Or to set it to react less often?

Don't know whether it is really possible. Have you tried to set the HmIP-eTRV-2 to "OFF" in the WebUI and then control the valve?

Hi @malkovy,

I'm trying to accomplish the same thing and use the eTRV valve to manually control two valves. Did you find any solution to disable the internal controller?

best regards, Rainer
