Hello,
Sorry in advance if this has been answered already.
I have a 3 floor house. With 3 false floor heating circuit per floor.
I managed them with 2x Falmot c8, and 9 valves (1 falmot: 3x valves, 1 falmot: 6x valves). I have a 3x sth thermostat on each floors .
I have created 3 groups ( 3 valves+ 1x sth) in OpenCCU.
My question: I would like to keep 1 valve open to each floors/group to something like 10% . Is there a way to set this up in OpenCCU, or else where?
Thanks in advance for your help
Max

Re: Falmot, set minimum valve opening
No, there's no way to do that. You can only set a temporary value. The FALMOT's internal routine will close the valve again after a 3-minute period of time. The FALMOT is a regulator.

Re: Falmot, set minimum valve opening
Okay,
Thanks for your quick answer. I have an automation in Home assistant that is setting target temperature to the STH, and with a min closing percentage on some valves, but I haven't been able to understand why sometimes it works fine (1st and 2nd floor), and sometimes the Falmot is forcing his order over the HA order... In the attachment suddenly the valves in ground floor got this behaviour...
To my understanding on reading on this forum, it's fine to play with STH target temp in HA, but I should not try to control the FALMOT in HA , right?

Re: Falmot, set minimum valve opening
Yes, that is the recommended way.
Right. It's not possible to control the FALMOT directly dueto the affections to the duty cycle.

Re: Falmot, set minimum valve opening
Hello,
Okay so I understood it right.
Sorry but I'm a bit into a loop at the moment...
In my scenario, I don't really understand the benefits to run OpenCCU, in terms of features, Vs hmIP cloud. ( Outside the obviously running locally vs in the cloud).
Max.

Re: Falmot, set minimum valve opening
That's the point. OpenCCU is more powerfull and has more options than the cloud devices. You can use virtual cannels
and expert parameters for advanced features. And much more.
