HmIP-MIOB Pump with HmIP Access Point - connection help?

Hello all,

Sorry for disturbing again. I have now another dilemma. I have the HM IP MIOB and I learned it in access point and assigned a pump control to it but for some reason it does not start the pump when needed. I used the scheme from the pump connection from the manual but without luck. Could anyone tell me what do I do wrong? I am attaching pictures so you can see what I have configured.

Thank you in advance for the help. It's much appreciated

Hi,

can you change the title to e.g. " HmIP-MIOB Pump with HmIP Access Point - connection help?"

So it's more clear for other that you need help with the HmIP Access Point and not CCU / RaspberryMatic.

The official english User Guide for the HmIP Access Point and e.g.HmIP-MIOB can be found here:

Hello everyone, I bought a homematic ip set with radiator valves, the access point and the HmIP-MIOB and coupled all the elements via app and configured the HmIP-MIOB with output on 4.1 and 4.2 boiler control
I have trouble getting the HmIP-MIOB to work, I'll explain better
My system consisted of a vaillant boiler that also makes hot water and a wall-mounted chronothermostat with 230v input and 2 outputs where 2 boiler control wires were inserted (the boiler requires a normally open contact that when it closes it starts heating )
Now I have connected 230v to terminals 2.1 and 3.1 and the boiler control to terminals 4.1 and 4.2 but in this way the boiler does not turn on.
I also tried with a tester but also by setting the manual program on the app and raising the temperature to the radiators the circuit between 4.1 and 4.2 does not close.
Can anyone help me?

Just for info because about MIOB and HomematicIP Access Point you will not find a lot of info:
You can aks the eQ-3 support - and post their answer in the forum.
https://www.eq-3.com/service/support.html

Have you also checked Homematic IP HmIP-WHS2 ?

Thank you, I checked HmIP-WHS2 and should be the same. The connection schema for boiler it's the same but in that way i give potential to normally open contacts of boiler an on my boiler it's specifically reccommended to not give 220v to contacts.
I'll try contacting eq-3

I have same question pending, waiting for arrival of HmIP-WHS2. Its very strange what you have observed. Dont forget to share response from ELV.
Its appear very strange: knowing that majority of heaters require pair of dry contacts to manipulate... and not providing it in unit designed specifically for managing heat.

You can check https://www.elv.de/homematic-ip-multi-io-box.html on the tab "Forenbeiträge" and check with google chrome (translate to english) what others asked ELV/e-Q3 about the product.

And comment to same question about Multi I/O: https://www.elv.de/topic/multi-io-box.html and (for reference) about use of Multi I/O with WTH wall thermostats(impossible) https://www.elv.de/topic/homematic-ip-m ... epfen.html
Samtruman, seem like you better return your HMIP-MIOB :(
