Good Morning,
I have a Homematic CCU2 and I would like to make it works with Alexa.
What is the most easy, cost effective way to do it ?
I think here are the options:
1/ Buy a Homematic IP on ELV => 150€ (not the idea)
2/ Install RaspberryMatic on an Raspberry PI zero with a radio card => around 20€ but lot of work ?
3/ Convert the CCU2 in CCU3 ? is it possible buy installing a Software ? => Cost 0€
4/ Subscribe to CloudMatic but I'am based in France so the Alexa Skills is not even available
If I can make it compatible with Apple HomeKit too. It would be great.
Thanks for your advises.
Eric

Re: Homematic CCU2 with Amazon Alexa
For French or any other Alexa supported language French (FR, CA), Italian (IT), Japanese (JP), Spanish (ES, MX), English (UK, USA) and German (DE) go to your local amazon store activate the skill and set up on an additonal RaspberryPi one of these programs that work with the CCU - than you can easily command the CCU by speaking to your Amazon Echo:

Here for example how to install Homebridge on a Raspi.

With exception also Homee (but they only included the Homematic devices from the CCU not the Homematic IP devices until now:)
