Re: NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next
In the end I just ordered a CCU3... It's here on my desk, still have to power it up
Re: NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next
I've found a German colleague that can order parts needed and ship to me now I'm bit confused on which module to order:
the old module HM-MOD-RPI-PCB is out of stock and I was wondering if the USB stick version is 100% compatible with Raspberrymatic or I must order the new big RPI-RF-MOD; can someone help me to decide? USB is cleaner as I can use a normal Raspberry case while the big board will force me to buy a suitable case or 3D print one....

One or more of the following devices possible for RaspberryMatic:
HomeMatic َ+ homematicIP protocol:
GPIO Radio Module HAT – RPI-RF-MOD
GPIO Radio Module HAT – HM-MOD-RPI-PCB
USB Radio Module Adapter PCB – HB-RF-USB (own build USB Stick)
homematicIP protocol only:
USB Stick – HmIP-RFUSB
HomeMatic protocol only:
LAN Gateway – HM-LGW-O-TW-W-EU
USB Stick – HM-CFG-USB-2

Re: NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next
Thanks tomi_cc16, as my system is only HmIP and I have no plan to add other protocol al lof the above shoudl work.tomi_cc16 hat geschrieben: ↑29.01.2019, 08:13https://github.com/jens-maus/RaspberryM ... /README.md

Then I would rather go and purchase the USB stick (HmIP-RFUSB) as I wrote will allow me to use the Raspberry case I have already...
Can't wait for my colleague to order and then send it to me to start palying with it

Re: NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next
Good idea and I guess you could later easily add e.g. the LAN Gateway – HM-LGW-O-TW-W-EU to also control HM protocol.
In Amazon Italy for 27€

Could make sense because some of the "older" HM devices are not yet available as HmIP devices - lets see what new HmIP devices the April Roadshow in Kassel will bring.

HeatingThermostat.valveActualTemperature = with the latest Cloud/App Update from 21.02.2019 for Homematic IP Access Point it’s possible now to read the measured temperature on the VALVE of the Heating Thermostatspapperone hat geschrieben: ↑15.12.2018, 23:39update:
I enabled HomematicIP services in my Home Assistant setup, while at first look it seems to work I've to say I'm disappointed by the update of the valve status. Values showed by Home Assistant are not reliable:
- I've valves that reported 0% whole day (so they should have been closed) but in reality they were opened as the relevant radiator was "hot"
- Even when valve closes the value reported in Home Assistant is still there for even up to 2hours
Hope it will also be soon part in Home Assistant Update
One important information for all RaspberryMatic Users, HmIP WIRED is only possible with a RPI-RF-MOD !!!
Re: NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next
Great news but even after the update of the APP I cannot see the reading.... Is it somethign that needs as well a firmware update on the actuators?tomi_cc16 hat geschrieben: ↑23.02.2019, 14:37HeatingThermostat.valveActualTemperature = with the latest Cloud/App Update from 21.02.2019 for Homematic IP Access Point it’s possible now to read the measured temperature on the VALVE of the Heating Thermostatspapperone hat geschrieben: ↑15.12.2018, 23:39update:
