NewUser - needs some advice what to purchase next

Half the stuff in this thread is over my head but at least I can help out at one thing: once you start throwing around valves, you can read a program on the CCU2/3 to read the valve positions. If any valve is more than 'n' % open it means there is demand for heat, which then you could use start your boiler(pump). Pretty much the same as a floor heating, it seems

Well exactly what I am working with
I use at the moment the HmIP cloud integration in HA; it's working but not as accurate as I woud like.
For this reason I ordered an RF intgerface for my RaspberryPi, will set it up as CCU3 with RaspberryMatic and hopefully I will be getting more accurate and timely readings...
Are you already using CC3? Is it feasible (and easy ) to have reliable MQTT or HTTP/REST communication from CC3 to my broker? That will help me a lot to well integrate HmIP solution into my system...

I'm a bit stuck as due to the period it's tricky to find any of the RF interfaces for Raspberry with reasonable price and shipping-time
I am re-evaluating to purchase a CC3 insted... let's see right after Christmas!

don't know what to say, if I try to order I've only DHL option for 12€, and I doubt this device is more than 500gr

ok will try to request shipping to Italy as from ebay all HmIP items are flagged as "shipping only in Germany"

I bought years back many books from USA EBay. And they had not the option to ship to Germany. So I always contacted before the Owner and asked if I buy it and pay extra later with paypal for the shipping if it would be ok. Most of them said yes. So you need to be creative my friend or buy CCU3 and no stress.
