If any valve is more than 'n' % open it means there is demand for heat, which then you could use start your boiler(pump). Pretty much the same as a floor heating, it seems
I use at the moment the HmIP cloud integration in HA; it's working but not as accurate as I woud like.
For this reason I ordered an RF intgerface for my RaspberryPi, will set it up as CCU3 with RaspberryMatic and hopefully I will be getting more accurate and timely readings...
Are you already using CC3? Is it feasible (and easy ) to have reliable MQTT or HTTP/REST communication from CC3 to my broker? That will help me a lot to well integrate HmIP solution into my system...
