Hi @ll.
Few weeks ago I have realised my Wall thermosthat (HmIP-WTH-2), which I use for management of 3 Thermostatic heads (HMIP-eTRV-2) is shoving like 0,5 °C more than what I see in the app.
Today I have used temperature offset function in Homematic app, but I thought this function is to calibrate the Wall thermostat to some other more precise measurement in case WTH - 2 would be misaligned - not to offset WTH-2 displayed temperature with temperature shown in my app, that should be the same, right?

Well, that is highly dependent on your installation. I have been playing with proper location for WTH2 and have found that manual is damn correct:
P.S. after re-reading your post, it sounds like I misunderstood you Do you really meant that current temp showed on WTH2 is off by 0.5C compare to what you get on app?
- do not install it on outer wall
- do not install close to door from the room
- install on ~ 1.5m from the floor

Everything you described is clear to me and that's where I would use the offset function for - but I really see different numbers on display of WTH2 and in my app

Re: HmIP-WTH-2 showing diffeent temperature than app
The App for the HmIP Access Point gets the data from the Cloud, so maybe it needs some time to get the update from WTH2 to the Cloud and this makes the difference?

Re: HmIP-WTH-2 showing diffeent temperature than app
That might be the reason - but thermostatic heads react on direct communication via Access point according to actual temperature shown on WTH?

Re: HmIP-WTH-2 showing diffeent temperature than app
Easy to test. Turn the Access Point off and regulate WTH and see what happens

Re: HmIP-WTH-2 showing diffeent temperature than app
Just tried that and surprisingly eTRV reacts to changes on WTH even without connection to Access Point Thats quite cool, I didn't expect it.
Nevertheless the question goes more direction is eTRV being regulated based on the temperature I see ac actual on WTH? Probably yes as this works also without Access Point...
