Possible? How to control 3 valve actuator with 1 IP Wall Thermostat ?

Beitrag von expertaz » 06.12.2019, 09:24

Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum.

Planning to make home automation with Homematic IP underfloor heating actuator (HmIP-FAL230-C10),Homematic IP Wall Thermostat (HmIP-WTH-2) and Homematic IP Access Point (HMIP-HAP).

I have a room with 3 floor heating zones,that was reason I have to merge 3 valve actuator to 1 IP Wall Thermostat.Is it possible with Homematic IP App?
Or let me ask another way;Is it possible control with 1 IP Wall Thermostat 3 valve actuator?

Thanks in advance,
Hafiz.

Hi,

and welcome in the Forum. Where are you from and how did you found out about Homematic IP?

I don’t use floor heating but I could not find your scenario here:

The best would be if you ask the exact question the eQ3 support and post later their answer here.

contact eQ3: support@eq-3.de

+++Short Update+++
I found out it would work with the CCU - but did not found out if also possible with the HmIP Access Point

Here is answer from eqiva support;

Thank you very much for your inquiry to our technical customer service department, as well as your general interest in our products.

Theoretical it is possible to control all channels of the HmIP-FAL230-C10 with one wall thermostat.
You can assign the heating zones to a room (for example Channel 1, 2 and 3 belong to the living room).
The wall thermostat in the living room will automatically controll the three assigned heating zones of the actuator to heat your room.

You can find information about this in the user guide: https://www.homematic-ip.com/downloads/ ... -Guide.pdf

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again via email.

Yours sincerely
