HM WTH/Pump strange behavior turning on and off

Beitrag von samuellazea » 10.11.2020, 12:20

Hello friends,

Sorry for bothering again. I have a question related to the WTH/FAL/Pump duty. I changed from HAP to CCU2 (for now cause this I had laying around) and I see some strange behavior with WTH head demand and pump start. I see WTH requesting heat every few minutes and then few minutes is off. In the attached pictures this can be seen. By doing this the Pump and heat demand is always turning off and the actor is also turning off even if the room still needs heat. This drives me crazy and wastes so much energy cause of all the on and off instead of staying ON when there is demand. I am in desperate need for help cause the boiler is just turning ON and OFF and is not efficient at all.
Thanks lots in advance and looking forward for some tips.

In case I need to add some more information please let me know and I will post it

I also notice that this is going on (ON and OFF) even if the desired temperature is below the actual temperature

If I read the manual in the groups sections I don't see HMIP FAL in the list that can be used for groups.

I made sure to have a channel for FAL not used to try to add it to a group but it seems it's not supported

Also the room that is triggering heat/pump demand is a room that has a single WTH and nothing else attached to it. So a direct connection from WTH to FAL should be working ok I would think

Delete the direct connect and create a group and please test again.

My documentation translation is probably not up to date ;-) but Im happy that you use it.

Of course I use your documentation. It's priceless and thanks for it. Really appreciate it.
I also checked the up to date documentation in german and the FAL is not part of the groups.

So I deleted the direct connection for that WTH and I created a group with the single WTH in there.

But since I can't connect the FAL channel to it, what should I do next with the group?

Do you have a WTH or WTH-2 because I remember sth like that the WTH is not for floor heating
