Fix CAL, and how sensitive is the HMIP-eTRV-2 to CAL?

I've given up on detecting a valve in CAL condition of my radiator valves (no matter what I tried, nothing works).
So, let's focus on eliminating the CAL condition then. Anyone who has a good suggestion how to do that?
In the past I've seen some suggestions adding a coin (doesn't work here, not enough space). I wonder if the newer Homematic IP valve HMIP-eTRV-2 might be less sensitive to the CAL problem?
