Workaround temp offset wth2 eTRV-C

Beitrag von Triple_NL » 20.01.2021, 21:40

Temperature offset or valve offset per radiator is not available in asystem that uses HAP, WTH2 and eRTV-C

So if you have a room and one of the radiators doesn’t heat up like the others do, nothing is possible. There is and option of temperature offset in 5he app, but it only will correct the temperate on the wth2 and therefor all the radiators will be effected. Not just the one you want to correct.

I found a workaround. You can force a temperature offset on 1 radiator within a room/group of multiple valves .
First set the temperature offset on the desired radiator valve in the homematic ap. If the radiator stays to cold set it to -2,0 or less (2,5 etc etc). If the radiator stays to hot set it to +2 or more.
(FYI this action will not fix the desired offset itself !!)Leave your heating program running as usual for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Then turn of the heating program (aka lower the temperature set on the wth so the heating will stop an all de valves closes in the desired group)
Perform a factoryreset on the desired thermostatsvales (eTRV-C) and add them back in to the desired group (all via the app)

Start your desired heating program. The radiator with the offset should now be effected and work according to the offset given.

I’ve you perform a readout of the valve with 3rd party software (for example Smartha) you will see that the radiator reports a valvepostion and temperature that makes no sense , but the radiator will act according to the offset .
