My HM-Sec-SC-2 seems to be dead
A couple of days ago, it began to give a service message in the WebUI, probably because the batteries were dead.
Unfortunately, after replacing the batteries, the device does not respond at all. The LED doesn't even blink.
The new batteries are fine (almost 3V for the both), and even when powered by a lab power supply, it doesn't do anything.
The lab power supply indicates that it consumes no power at all (which is less than 1mA for my supply), so my first thought was a loose connection.
I opened the device, but cannot see anything wrong with it.
Does someone maybe have a similar experience and know how to fix this?
