I`ve recently bought this setup and also did a Home Assistant integration for them with CCU3, RaspberryMatic. Not using the AP anymore.
Setup it (floor heating) :
- 2 X control HMIP FAL230 -C10 : Using only 6 chanels per each floow.
- HMIP-MIOB
- 5 thermostats (3 HMIPSTH, 1 STHD, 1 BWTH)
Main problem is : How it actually works ?
1. Looks like its working continuously, in 5 days the head demand was around 10-12h per day. Its huge given the fact that outside were 5-8 degrees.
2. Load collector or load balancing ? Which one is ok to use? Both cases the boiler works like crazy, huge consumption.
3. Is there a way to sync both FAL230 (from each floor) when asking for heating to go simultaneously eveywhere ? It happened that 1h asked for heating the one from the 1st floow, (boiler worked like crazy), then when it stopped the ground floor asked for heating and one more hour continuously.
Also those cycles, it works something like 5 mins OFF - 1-2 mins ON .. continuously, all day and all night looong!!
What I did wrong, what I am missing ?
I`ve spend a lot of money to have it and its consumption its triple than before..and extremely annoying with these cycles.
