Hello everyone! I’m looking more and more into the Homematic IP solutions for our home, but before starting with the shopping - is anyone aware if there are any restrictions for the whole setup (mobile app and devices) in other EU countries outside DACH region (e.g. Croatia).

The Homematic IP Access Point establishes a VPN connection to the German cloud servers.
If your Croatian Internet provider has not established any VPN blocks, such as some Chinese Internet providers, then this should basically work without any problems.
And of course the actuators, which are not battery-operated, need 230V AC. But this should be available in Croatia.

FYI - End of 2024 will be the new Homematic IP Home Control Unit released - but you can also build up your setup now with an Access Point and decide at a later point to move to the new Control Unit.
