Hi,
I'm sorry but my German is too poor, can you answer in English?
I'm new to house automation and to FS20 and all descriptions written in German doesn't make it easier for me.
I plan to automate my house in several phases.
In the first phase I plan to implement only a little part - to learn the system.
*** Central unit ***
- FHZ1300PC & IP-Symcon + eventually my own SW using SDK customized to my house
*** Bathroom electrical heating (230V, ON/OFF) ***
This is suplemental heating in the bathroom, used to temperate the bathroom and to bring the bathroom to higher temperature than the rest of the house.
I see three options here. Are they viable?
1. FHT 80b (no valve) + FHT 8W
In my understanding, this will work without valve and it will work even with PC down.
2. FHT 80b (no valve) + FS20 SU actor + PC
In my understanding, this could work with PC (IP Symcon) in 24/7 mode. Is that correct?
3. Are there any other options for controlling of electrical heating?
Thanks for any advice,
Marian

Hello marian,
you could also use the FS20 STR and for example the FS20 ST if you only need a switching between On/Off in dependence of the bathroom temperature.
I think it is the cheapest possibility and also works without PC.

Re: Heating with FHT 80b - in English (if possible)
Hi,
thanks for answer.
The info I have (I don't know whether it is correct) is that FS20 STR can't be remotely controlled from a PC. That's a showstopper for me.
I have several supplemental heatings at home and I want to keep their desired temperature to be synchronized via PC.
regards,
Marian

Yes, that is correct. You can't control it via PC.marian hat geschrieben:The info I have (I don't know whether it is correct) is that FS20 STR can't be remotely controlled from a PC.

If you use a FHZxxxxPC and IP-Symcon it should be possible to use a HMS100T or HMS100TF and a switching actor.

But I don't use a PC for automation so I'm not 100% sure...

Thanks for answers.
Now I'm experimenting with FHT-80B and I have problems with it
Initially it worked fine, temperature was sent to the FHZ1300PC.
But after some time temperature didn't come anymore (other values, like valve position, are coming).
It seems that I will have to switch to temperature sensor only, but then there's no display to set the temperature directly in the controlled room
Did anybody else encounter this issue?
Regards,
Marian
