Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo

Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo
Hello everyone,
I'm French and using google translate to read german, so I'll speak in english and hope it's ok for everyone
I've update 4 Evo TRV with firmware 1.2 and having the same issue (valve does not close even if it state it's close...). I'm quite surprised that Homematic could release such a big issue on a firmware to be honest... I guess my only choice is to reset them all and not do the update in the future (using RaspberryMetic as CCU) ?
Regards,

Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo
Well, it seems I'm having a hard time to downgrade one of the Evo. Firmware does not upload to the device ("The update file will be transferred to the device") since 3 days now.
I've tried resetting the Evo (no effect), deleting it on the CCU, reboot the CCU, adding it again... no effect.
What's also wierd is that the log clearly show that the device seems to communicate too much :
I'm a bit lost here, I don"t know what to do to help it to download the firmware.
The 3 others, after downgrading to 1.0.10 are working flawlessly again.
Any help is welcome

Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo
Depending on the duty cycle of your system, the process needs longer than three days. This information is shown before you start the update.petoulachi hat geschrieben: ↑16.12.2022, 15:09Firmware does not upload to the device ("The update file will be transferred to the device") since 3 days now.
Every single action of...
...startes the process at the beginning. This is the best way to expand the time to eternity. So keep calm.petoulachi hat geschrieben: ↑16.12.2022, 15:09I've tried resetting the Evo (no effect), deleting it on the CCU, reboot the CCU, adding it again...
Well, this is the only way to transmit the update file to the device.petoulachi hat geschrieben: ↑16.12.2022, 15:09What's also wierd is that the log clearly show that the device seems to communicate too much :

Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo
Ok, well I guess I'll have to wait a lot longer then.
edit: I'm surprised because before this, it usually take 10 minutes to send firmware to any of the device at my home
Regarding duty cycle, it's around 35% right now. Is that ok ? I do only have 4 TRV, 1 thermostat and 4 contact door.
Thanks for your help !

Re: Firmware hmip etrv-e Evo
For my taste a litle bit to high for this limitited number of devices. Anyway. The duty cycle stands for strictly limited time to 1% (equal 36 sec per hour) for usage of the transmitting frequency. Your system uses 35% of the time right now for doing quite "nothing". So you have just 15% transmitting time left to send the firmware to the devices. 50% DC is the limitation for the firmware transmission. Otherwise the system had no ressources to control the devices.petoulachi hat geschrieben: ↑16.12.2022, 17:10Regarding duty cycle, it's around 35% right now. Is that ok ?
