Hmm, das war ein bisschen abzusehen. :|

Helfen kann ich hier nicht mehr, das ganze bewegt sich wohl Richtung Treiber was außerhalb meiner Kompetenz liegt.

Eine Idee zum testen hätte ich aber noch. :wink:
Eine Debian VM aufsetzen, darin DebMatic etablieren und versuchen die Platinen/Modulkombi da zu connecten.

Geht es da ist es ein RM-Problem, geht es nicht liegt's wohl an deinem Proxmox.

Was es auch ist, ich drück die Daumen das der Fehler gefunden wird und "fixbar" ist.

Ich denke auch, dass es etwas mit der USB-Treiber Kommunikation zu tun haben muss - habe mal ein Issue bei der RM aufgemacht - vielleicht hat Jens ja noch eine Idee ...

Hab ich leider nicht. Bei meinen letzten Tests mit HB-RF-USB-2 und dem alten Funkmodul funktionierte das tadellos unter Proxmox. Vielleicht hat Alexander ja eine Idee dazu. Auch würde mich interessieren wie es mit einem RPI-RF-MOD aussieht und ob das erkannt wird oder nicht.

Hi,

ich habe auch keine Idee. Interessant wäre aber wirklich der Versuch mit einer debmatic VM um weiter einzugrenzen, wo der Fehler liegt.

Gemacht: Debian 11 mit Debmatic in Proxmox 7.2 neu aufgesetzt. Zeigt das absolut gleiche (negative) Ergebnis: funktioniert nicht mit 'HB-RF-USB-2' + 'HM-MOD-RPI-PCB', funktioniert mit 'HB-RF-USB-TK' mit 'HM-MOD-RPI-PCB'. Die Logs sind quasi identisch ...

Ich denk da evtl. in Richtung Stromproblem.
Was ist, wenn die Platine über USB 3.0 nicht genug Strom bekommt?
Immerhin ist sie ja nicht USB 3.0, sondern "nur" USB 2.0 Standard.
Denn wenn sie an einer USB 3.0 Buchse hängt, selber aner nur USB 2.0 Standard hat, dann fehlen da einfach ein paar Leitungen, die bei USB 2.0 nicht belegt sind.
USB 2.0 hat da nur vier Leitungen, USB 3.0 jedoch 8 od.9, ist aber Kompatibel zu USB 2.0.
Könnte man z. B. testen, wenn mal einen USB 2.0 Switch hat, einen mit Netzteil und da dran das Ding mal dranhängt.

Ich hatte das Setup auf beiden meiner Proxmoxe getestet, ohne Auffälligkeiten. Meine Hardware ist natürlich nicht identisch zur ZOTAC ZBOX CI327 nano von @wolwin und meine PVE's allgemein etwas "frischer" (7.2-7 @wolwin vs. 7.2-11 @baxxy), aber das sollte jetzt nicht den Unterschied machen.

OK, dann bin ich wieder raus, war eh nur so eine Idee.
Ich habe an meiner QNAP TS-451D2 Nas noch die alte USB-Platine mit dem alten Funkmodul laufen, das klappt hervorragend.

ich stecke in der gleichen misere...

Funkmodul auf meinem Pi3 funktioniert einwandfrei,
Proxmox erkennt die USB Platine, die dann auch an die VM weitergereicht wird.
Aber die Logs sehen Identisch aus... Das Funkmodul wird einfach nicht erkannt...

Die PLatine hängt am NUC

EDIT: Änderungen beim weiterreichen des USB Ports haben erfolg gebracht. Unter Hardware->Add->USB Device -> Use USB Vendor/Device ID -> Choose Device->HB-RF-USB-2
