Hallo zusammen,
ich habe Debmatic auf einem NUC mit Proxmox laufen. Die VM ist die aktuellste Debian Version.
Außer Debmatic läuft auf dem System nichts. RAM habe ich 2GB zugewiesen.
Jetzt habe ich festgestellt, dass der Speicherverbrauch der VM ununterbrochen bei über 90% liegt.
Ist das auf Debmatic zurückzuführen oder eher ein Problem der VM?
Meine anderen VMs (4 Stück mit zb: IOBroker) nutzen wesentlich weniger RAM.

Hier nochmals die volle Ausgabe von ps-aux bei einem RAM-Verbrauch von über 90%
Und hier von cat /proc/meminfo - ALLERDINGS NACH EINEM NEUSTART SOEBEN - die ersten Stunden läuft der RAM bei ca. 20% - daher ist die nachfolgende Info eher nicht aussagekräftig.

Ok, dann warte ich, bis der RAM wieder angewachsen ist und poste dann nochmals die Ausgaben.
Ja genau, den RAM-Verbrauch von über 90% zeigt es bei Proxmox an und der Balken ist dann auch rot - fällt damit sofort auf

Hi,
der Kernel nutzt einfach viel RAM für Caches. Innerhalb des Gasts wird dieser RAM bei Bedarf zurückgegeben. Richtung Host allerdings nicht.
Mittels kann man den Kernel aber dazu veranlassen, die Caches freizugeben.
